Mojo Monday 176

Happy Mojo Monday!  For the last week of the month, we like to mix things up and focus on non-traditional sized cards.  So since it's Round or Square week try a round card, a square card or both if you're feeling really inspired!!  {If you're not sure how to make a round card, I described my process in the 2nd paragraph of this post on my blog a few months ago.}  As always, feel free to substitute if you don't have a specific shape - just make the sketch work for you!

To play along, make a project using the provided sketch and upload it to your blog or online gallery. Then leave a link to your project using the linky widget at the bottom of this post.  There is no time limit - you can always play any week at any time, but the linky form is scheduled to close at 8:00pm (Mountain) on Sunday night. That way there's no confusion which linky is the current one. If you upload to online galleries, please use keyword/tag MOJO176.

Julee's SampleThis week's sketch was designed by Mary Fish! I thought the little curve provided so many options for dividing the space, so adapted her concept for a round or square sketch. Whether you use punches, embellishments or ribbon to create your curve, it's sure to be a blast! For my sample card, I used a jar on my desk to trace a curve, then hand cut it, layered onto a full circle of the other paper and embellished over the top. After my card was finished I had another idea to just mask off the top curve and use a background stamp to make an easy one layer version. Maybe I'll give that a go later this week! See? Lots of possibilities!

As always, we hope you'll play along with us and link up your cards using this week's sketch. Make the curve as big or small as you want - just have fun!  And to get your mojo wheels a turnin' this week, here's a little inspiration from the Mojo Makers:

Click the link at the bottom of this post for the entry form.  Please type your name or screen name in the Caption or Title field, then choose the link and photo you'd like to enter.  Please link directly to your specific blog post with your card in it, and not your general blog url.

Note: If you're having problems linking (especially to SCS), try entering the link to your card, then choosing From File instead of From Web. Then just browse to where your picture is saved on your computer to get your thumbnail.
